Personal Finance Suite is an internal financial monitoring tool operated by KNUS GmbH (Konstanz, Germany) and its sole user, Simon Roser. It is not a commercial product and is not offered to third parties.
Personal Finance Suite is a single-user application used only by the account holder to review their own financial data. No other persons use, access, or receive data from this application.
When connected to a bank account via the Enable Banking PSD2 interface, Personal Finance Suite reads:
Personal Finance Suite also processes invoices and receipts from the user's own email inbox (Gmail) and from the Lexware Office API for accounting purposes.
All data is stored locally on the user's own device in a SQLite database file. Data is not transmitted to any third-party server operated by Personal Finance Suite. There is no Personal Finance Suite backend, no cloud storage, and no multi-tenant infrastructure.
Personal Finance Suite communicates with the following third-party services, each under its own privacy policy:
No data is sold, shared with advertisers, or used for profiling. No tracking, analytics, or cookies are used.
Data is retained on the user's local device until the user deletes it. Bank account consent issued via Enable Banking is valid for up to 180 days and can be revoked at any time from within Personal Finance Suite.
As the sole user is also the data controller, access, rectification, and deletion rights under GDPR are exercised directly via the application itself and the underlying database file.
